MMWOS talks to Ribcage Customs Brand

Hello all my MMWOS readers! I am happy to give you all an inside look and exclusive interview with Ribcage Customs. Ribcage Customs is a great UK based street wear label full of great designs and graphics.Check out one of the hottest Independent designers coming out of the UK!

MMWOS: How did Ribcage Customs come to be?

Ribcage Customs: Initially we were involved in other creative projects producing short films. The idea began over a meal at our favorite Chinese restaurant. Straight away we realized that this was the beginning of something big, so from there we put our money together to get a studio and began building Ribcage Customs.

MMWOS: What 3 word best describe the Ribcage Customs Brand?

MMWOS: What is the inspiration behind the Ribcage Customs?

Ribcage Customs: Our inspiration came from wanting to do something different with our artwork, we wanted to wear it with pride and we wanted the world to join us.

MMWOS:What influences your work?

Ribcage Customs: Our initial influences come from the things we love such as Manga, movies, games and comics, however, we didn’t want to just rip off other people’s artwork. So we work hard at producing fresh, exciting, and original artwork that looks great and makes us stand out from the crowd.

MMWOS: What are the highs and lows of being a indie designer?

Ribcage Customs:  There are so many highs of being an indie designer but the best feeling is seeing people out and about wearing our clothing. Although there’s a lot of hard work being done all the time, there really aren’t any lows as doing something you love every day doesn’t get boring. Every week just gets better with exciting new things happening daily, we really wouldn’t rather be anywhere other than here.

MMWOS: What makes Ribcage Customs different from other brands?

Ribcage Customs: We really don’t try to follow any trend. We make things that we think are cool, not what fad or trend is going on right at the time. Artistic inspiration is the only thing that guides us.

MMWOS: What projects is Ribcage Customs currently working on? 

Ribcage Customs: Were constantly throwing around new designs and ideas, our studio is filled with artwork and T-shirt prints. We’ve been hard at work on hoodies for the fast approaching cold weather, which we will be launching in within the next few weeks. We also have a lot of design ideas outside of clothing such as skateboards.
