I checked out the M.A.C Cosmetics VIVA GLAM 'From our Lips' campaign with Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper. Sharon Osbourne asked some great questions. The best thing about the M.A.C Cosmetics VIVA GLAM products is that all the proceeds go to the M·A·C AIDS Fund. M·A·C Cosmetics has provided over $160 million dollars to date for the M·A·C AIDS Fund.


I know this is not about hip hop but it is about music and HIV/AIDS affects the hip hop community. The 2006 CDC data tell us that about half of the just over 1 million Americans living with HIV or AIDS are black. AIDS remains the leading cause of death among black women between ages 25 and 34. It's also the second-leading cause of death in black men 35-44. So this is a disease that affects you too. Check out how this musical and fashion diva are using their image for a great cause.
