#Throwback MMWOS Events - Pusha T x Adidas Sneaker Launch

Hello all my music lovers! I know it has been a long time since I posted so why not bring you a great throwback post! For some odd reason, I almost forgot to post one of my favorite events that I  attended in 2014. I was able to attend Pusha T's Adidas sneaker Launch. It was a great night filled with music and fashion only in New York City!

 The Adidas Originals - King Push x EQT Running Guidance 93 retailed for $200. These sneakers are a must for any sneaker head collection. You don't want to know how much they are going for on ebay today!

Milan Malan Word on The Street Events - #DaSweetBloodofJesus Listening party and Soundtrack Review

Hello all my MMWOS readers! I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything on MMWOS. Well, I am so happy to bring you an exclusive look of my time at #DaSweetBloodofJesus Listening party. Without futher ado, here is Milan Malan Word on The Street Events - #DaSweetBloodofJesus Listening party and Soundtrack Review!

The event took place in NYC with Spike Lee explaining how the movie Da Sweet Blood of Jesus was a independent project funded through Kickstarter. Spike Lee wanted to bring in that same independent spirit to the movie soundtrack. So Spike Lee asked through social for unsigned indendent artist to submit their music for Da Sweet Blood of Jesus soundtrack. 

This listening party gave the media, critics, and fans a look at new independent artists.

Spike Lee's latest film Da Sweet Blood of Jesus was inspired by Ganja & Hess produced by Chiz Schultz. It was great to see Chiz Schultz come to this event and give his support for Spike Lee's latest project.

Inside Man (2006), 25th Hour 25th Hour (2002), Malcolm X Malcolm X (1992), and Do the Right Thing (1989) was in attendence.

 I got the chance to meet and take a photo with Spike Lee. Shout out to Johnny Nunez for taking the photo and letting me take a photo of it. This night was unforgettable filled with great music and innovative way support independent artist.

While listening to the album, we got to see some behind the scene clips from the movie on the wall of the venue. All in all the soundtrack really set a great atmospere not only for the movie but also for the night. A night full of great music to a great new film. MMWOS Events - The Global Spin Awards Press Conference

Hello all my music lovers! I know I was gone for a while. Well I am finally back with serious dose of Hip Hop! Today I had the chance to sit in on The Global Spin Awards Press Conference! The Global Spin Awards is an award show honoring the Dee Jay. Yes, Dee Jay are finally getting their dues.

I am also happy to see some of the dee jays ( KID Capri, Funk Master Flex, and DJ Premier) are being honored at the Global Spin Awards. I have to saw it was a mind blowing experience to see some of the biggest names in hip hop in one room. We all remember when Kid Capri would say --Its the KIIIDD Capri or when Funk Flex Dropped bombs on the hot record of the summer! We all know DJ Premier and how he brought some the hottest and aunthentic hip hop records to the airwaves! 

Global Spin Awards will have tons of great categories including  DJ of the Year, DJ Remixer, DJ Entrepreneur, Best DJ Album, Female DJ Of The Y Celebrity DJ of the Year! Oh I almost forgot to mention Funk Master Flex will be the recipient of the Legendary DJ Award and DJ Premier with receive the Global Spin Award Lifetime Achievement Award.
