MMWOS Fashion looks at Emmanuel Léroy

Hello all my MMWOS superstars. I am so glad to show you all a brand new fashion line called  Emmanuel Léroy. Emmanuel Léroy is a great emerging line from NYC. Here is a look at their new Spring/Summer ‘13 'Graffiti' Collection!

The perfect- imperfections’ is how Emmanuel Leroy describes his artistry. For over three years, Leroy has expressed his talents through designing sportswear for men and women. Production for Emmanuel Léroy, began in June 2009, when Leroy’s calling for fashion design led him to one of New York’s renowned university’s for exceptional artists and designers; the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T). During this time, Leroy ’s passions grew -he decided to design for young adults.  Inspired by his French ancestry, Leroy showcases his love for artistic expression through the brand’s name and logos in each design. As a native New Yorker, Leroy is also inspired by city life, music and cultural surroundings.

Emmanuel Léroy’s typical customer is intrigued by detail. They are fashion-forward, art enthusiast; who enjoy comfort, and appreciate the soft and rich feel of fabric. Current consumers range from 21-35 years old. Loyal customers appreciate Emmanuel Léroy style, as we have sold, 1,800 pieces to date and earned a total profit of $33.5K. T-shirts, sweaters and accessories account for 60% of sales. Custom orders make up 40% gross profits. Many of our pieces are unisex. We enjoy the idea of producing the same garment for males and females, to translate as their own expression.

Emmanuel Leroy have been compared to a number of influential brands such as Commes de Garçon, Billionaire Boys Club, & American Apparel. Emmanuel Léroy strives to maintain a unique image for edgy, confident and ambitious adults. Currently Emmanuel Léroy can be found at Mortonís clothing store in Cedarhurst, Long Island, NY and Mula in Queens, NY. Their goal is to secure more accounts throughout New York City and other surrounding areas this coming year, 2013.

"This market, though competitive, is open to those who are both diligent and talented."
-Emmanuel Leroy

MMWOS at JAGGED EDGE / MELANIE FIONA / CHRIS WALKER / FORCE MDS concert

Hey everyone. Here is a look at JAGGED EDGE / MELANIE FIONA / CHRIS WALKER / FORCE MDS concert in Central Park in NYC. There was plenty of rain and even more music!

Bobby Lee of WBLS was the host!

Chris Walker

Here is Chris Walker. Best known for his hit record "Take Time". Check out the latest from Chris Walker at http://chriswalkermusic.com/

Force MD's
Here is the Force Md's, known for their smash hit "Love is a House". They were great and really put on a show! You know I lost my mind when they song "Tender Love." You know I lost my mind when I heard them sing that song! Force Md's sound exactly like their records. there are not many artist out there that can retain their sound after 30 years in the music industry!

Jagged Edge

Jagged Edge was great. They perform all of their hits songs and some new joints from their album called The Remedy . I believe the album is available now.

Jagged Edge edge sound exactly like their album ...too bad their record company is not promoting them like the mega R&B group that they are. Well show your support for Jagged Edge and check out what is new with the group at http://www.jaggededge.net/

Melanie Fiona

Melanie Fiona was the finally act for the event. She performed some of her recent hits and a New song 4 am which sounds like a hit to me. She sounded great and dare I say better live than the album. Melanie has some serious pipes on her!  Check out Melanie at http://www.melaniefiona.com/

These Louboutins boots are sick! I love the rocker look that Melanie was channeling.

MMWOS SIdenote:  I was a bot surprise at that since most of the advertising for the event showed Jagged Edge as the Headliner. The concert was still great no matter what lineup it was.

The live band and the background singers was great too!
